How to fake a PWM signal[Posted on January 9, 2008 - 02:25 AM by Axeclown]
This isn't something that too many people will use, but I sure wish I'd come across a guide along these lines by the time I was halfway through experimenting with this!

If you have a computer or server with a system critical PWM fan & no bios setting to disable the alarm or allow it to boot, this guide should help you create a circuit which will feed the motherboard a signal to make it appear as if it has a PWM fan plugged in. That should enable you to either remove the fan or replace it with any regular fan of your choice!

You can find the guide here, and for those of you who happen to have a Compaq Proliant ML 350 G3, you may also be interested in this guide.

Welcome to the Gameminion Hardware section[Posted on January 8, 2008 - 09:17 PM by Axeclown]
This is a page I put together to host information about the various PC hardware projects I occasionally undertake, or fairly unknown/rare hardware tips that come to mind.
